We're a world-wide group of dedicated beer fans who feel our passion for brews from around the globe can help us promote goodwill between people everywhere.
Beer can be universal- Christian or Jew, Buddhist or Atheist, black or white, oriental or latino, male or female, transgendered or hermaphrodite- everyone can enjoy beer! (However, our Muslim friends and a few others will have to go for the non-alcoholic varieties.) It's a beverage that has hundreds of different styles around the world- so we can learn from one another as we share our regional flavour!
Pax Brewitas currently has chapters only in the United States- but there are people around the world who conisder themselves members of our group. There are certainly many more who sympathize with our goal of international understanding and acceptance.
Our members are people who gather in casual, social settings- always remembering that even people who disagree with them on matters such as politics and religion can still make very good friends. All we ask of our members is that they treat their fellow humans with respect, understanding, and a spirit of friendship. See a stranger sitting alone at a bar? Buy 'em a beer! You may make a new friend.
